 Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people
perish”. Our vision for the First United Methodist Church of
Sevierville is that it will be a welcoming place, where the
broken, lost, and forgotten are welcomed to come and
experience God. That we will witness our faith and trust
that God can change lives. I trust that we will reach out to
the community in whatever ways we can to let them know that
we care.
Evangelism and missions are a top priority for us. We are
called to be witnesses of God’s grace to the world, so that
they might know Jesus Christ. Let us all love each other,
encourage each other, and support one another in the
ministry of this church. It is not MY church or YOUR church;
it is OUR church in union with God.
As the pastor of this church, you can count on me to be
there whenever you need me. I will do everything in my power
to love and support you in all that you do. It is a
privilege and an honor to be the pastor of Sevierville's
First United Methodist Church. May God pour out His Spirit
upon us as we join together in ministry!
