What We Believe
We believe in one God, who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created the world and continues to be actively at work redeeming it. Everything God creates and redeems flows from God’s desire to love. This unconditional love—known as grace—is at work in all people, even before we are aware of it.
God’s grace is living and active. It draws us into relationship with God, brings salvation and justification, and continues to transform and sanctify us throughout our lives. We believe God has given us means of grace—ways we experience God’s presence and love—including personal spiritual practices, life in Christian community, and the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.
We believe the church is strongest when staff and lay leaders serve together, knowing we can accomplish far more united than we ever could alone. Every member of our church family is encouraged to discover and use their unique gifts and calling for the glory of God and the building up of the church
(Ephesians 4:11–13; 1 Peter 4:10–11).
We seek to introduce children, youth, and adults to Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20) so that all may experience salvation (Luke 19:9–10) through Christ-centered worship that glorifies God.
No matter the worship style or music, our desire is the same: to help people encounter Jesus Christ, be led by the Holy Spirit, and respond to the transforming power of God’s Word
(Hebrews 4:12).
